Beenhaving nostalga for Pokemon XD lately and felt the need to draw the game's Boss Pokemon, Shadow Lugia! I remember being so proud once I purified Lugia in the game still am <3 XD was one of my 1st non GBA games so it has a special place for me.

Anyhow, like my previous Primal Kyoger watercolor, I experimented with liquid mask and different kinds of brush textures for this, as well as watercolor pencils and gouache paint. Lots of fun! And though it turned out more busy than I'd have liked, I think it kind of fits in with the game's own atmosphere and promotional artwork.

Anyhow, more to come! I have tons of art materials that need using and (sadly) more than enough time until I can pick up another job.
