Sort of a continuation of [link] .
I like the way this one turned out.

I kind've wanted to do a Frank Miller-esque style with these. Originally, I was gonna add color, but I liked the way the white looked against the black background. The white "scratches" are the reflected light. The subject is supposed to be backlit.

The theme of this series is to seem as if the subject is relaxing after a hard day's work. But their faces are left in shadow because, hey, do superheroes ever get a break? So their "masks" don't ever really come off

Anyway, still trying my hand with comic-style shading and tablet inking. Kind've messy in places.
