This picture was taken about one week ago, but Mandor isn't so fluffy little thing now, he looks rather like an earnest dog

Actually, years ago typical (I mean - short-haired) akitas were interbred with other breeds (like samoyeds or chows) - it's why sometimes there are long-haired akitas

Your are rigth. If you want more information about this breed, in deviant there are many pictures. There are 2 kinds of spriger spaniel: the english and the welsh, and Nina is a welsh.
