So for a while, Rose held a resentment towards Charles because of his reckless antics and constantly distracting himself. She had a very hard time understanding why he wasn't as torn up as her, considering he's also a father, especially since he desperately tries to change the topic whenever his daughter, Lily, is brought up. Now of course, Charles has a more "if I don't laugh I'll cry" mindset and just doesn't like bringing up all that baggage. Best safe the laments about all the friends and family you left behind and all the life you haven't life for late nights when no one else is awake. I imagine eventually Rose would catch onto this and get a better understanding of Charles but that's for a later dateJust some Rocket goofin'As mentioned previously, Rocket likes to bring back misc things they found on their late night excursions for Rosemary to draw. Here Edd found what was meant to be a blue jay feather but I gave up halfway through because fuck it. Rosemary has trouble being, I guess so to speak, emotionally present and there for Rocket, but goddamnit if she doesn't try. Besides, Rocket's the only fragment of family she has, so of course she's gonna do her best to hold onto them
Also as a bonus, whenever either Edd or Molly speak out of Rocket’s mouth, both eyes gain a ring around the pupils that is a slightly lighter version of their respective eye colors
