This painting was pretty big. It`s a painting about the Korean and Chinese version of the Nine Tails Fox. I love the Korean version so much. The idea that a nine tail fox has to eat 100 men's hearts to become fully human.Done in graphite and oils

What a neat look! Lovely work. I do a lot with graphite, and oils, but never have I mixed them like that. Now I think I'll have to give that a try sometime. What do you use to thin out the oils, liquin?

I use poppy seed oil, but I am trying out different mediums as of late. Cold press linseed oil might be good as well.

EDIT: The way the arrow pierces the neck reminded me of something I'm working on now, a self portrait of me getting my frozen head sawed off by the government. The sawzall blade protrudes from the neck in a way that reminds me of your arrow. Maybe you'd like it, just a sketch for now but I think soon I'll do a larger better version.
