Description
Out there in the countryside of China there is a huge population of farmers who live on the land. A billion people who work hard to get by and some who dream of living in the cities where the living standard is higher. These people live in a several hundred year old lords house which was “redistributed” to the people back during the time of Mao. On the wall in the courtyard there is the usual platitudes to Mao and the greater good of all surrounded by the old wood carvings in the windows and roof of the house. The people who live there now have divided up the house and all have their own places with a small community of people who live outside the towns up in the mountains where everything just seems so much cleaner and fresh.
