"Open up your mind, let your fantasies unwind...."

Sort of a "What if" picture focusing on one of a phans biggest fantasy (and certainly the phantom's biggest fantasy)...Christine and the Phantom together, forever. As the quote from The Music of the Night intimates the two aren't violently taken with each other's presence but more of a soft appeal. Christine's innocence leaves her in awe of the phantom's mystique, of his presence, of his voice and the Phantom's fragile heart leaves him breathlessly amazed that there is another heart that could possibly comprehend his. Here is the moment where they understand each other, taking a moment to embrace, to touch...and with the touch a soft shudder. Love, eternally.

Of course we all know the moment never happened which is why it's dubbed Phantasy (with a "ph" becuase I'm a dork) and set in the Fantasy catagory becuase I can XP

The background is faded specifically to appeal to the idea that's a fantasy, sort of like a dream image, fading away even as we view it in the present. I was really excited about the lineart of this piece but I'm not sure I'm glad with the way I colored it (which was probably why it sat half-finished on my desk for a few months...) I went back and added a few details to the characters but my main beef is with the background...I don't know how I would have changed it...just changed it period o.<
