February's trade through #ACEO-change for *ExiiinKa , their character, Alexia. I had this done since about half way through February but I forgot to upload it until now! Oops! Sorry!
I had a ton of fun drawing this one! I hope that you like it! I used colored pencils with little shading swirlies of staedtler pen over the top. The feather sparkles.
This was a 'secret-santa' trade, so thanks to ~Syndraia who drew this lovely card for me --->

Wow! This is beautifully done! You haven't done an all-pencil drawing in a while. I'm excited to do this comment. ^^
For starters, I love the way you did nice, smooth coloring. The shading is nicely smudged out, and I can see the light source pretty well. I love how you did the mane on the dragon, too. I can see it was done by you, and you only. ^^ The shading on the wings and feather Alexia is holding was done awesomely, too. : )
I bet the weird pixel-ish texture was done by the scanner. Stupid scanner.
One thing I kind of recommend is I think the background could either use some shades of green, or a design. It looks a little plain, but it makes Alexia stand out of the picture more, too. ^^

Oh such a very cute blue dragon, and equally as nice looking red feather he is holding, I think though that the smaller red feather around his horn is a nice touch though. I see this a a nice trade gift and like the fact February has red for Valentines day that also makes the point come across, all in all lovely traditional piece again.
