At least, that's what my fencing instructors are always telling me. xD Quite nice, but do work on that fencing pose.
Also, her hips look a little funny. Like Alek, I'm not entirely sure what it is, unfortunately.
Still, that's some pretty nice art you've got there. I like Deryn's expression. xD

lol thanks, I don't know one bit about fencing, so I'm sure there's alot off with the pose itself.
As for deryn, the hips do look a little off to me too, she's a hard char to draw though (can't be too girly, yet not to masculine). I tried to kinda get that balance, and failed.

I know exactly what you mean. xD I can't draw hips period, guys or girls! Doubtless, this is better than I coulda done anyways.
(Also, turns out the tip's actually supposed to be horizontal, and that's why I could never attack anyone well. Seems like Deryn got it better than an experienced fencer. BEGINNER'S LUCK I SAY.
