So I got "Halt's Peril" early this week, and ever since I read the part about them loaning Horace a Rangers' cloak, I knew I was gonna have to draw him in one. I don't know why, I picked this pose, but there's a few parts in that book where it would apply.cheers!
Minor spoiler: Okay, who else was near tears at the beginning of chapter 35? That was NOT cool. Those first few paragraphs had me choking back a sob.

This is an amazing picture! Only two things. 1 Horace was blonde-brownish. 2 they described the cloak barely fitting him, because he was so much taller and broader than Will or Halt.

i was crying through most of this book
and it was even more awkward when i was in a public place and i kept saying 'OHMIGOD!' and "AWWWWW" and 'NO!!!!!' so... yeah.. dont read this book in a coffee shop or a library ppl.

lol at least not in the Rangers series. I've read a few books where shenanagins like that do happen without explanation. So I was pretty worried for a moment there.

I agree with chapter 35.My friend had told me he wouldnt die,and I started reading chapter 35 and i was thinking my friend lied to me at first.I could fricken feel the hair on my arms standing up in shock!

indeed. apon hearing the title i had this idea that if Halt was going to be in mortal peril, he should have been handicapped at the most, retired to Castle Araluen then someone would attack the castle and Halt would come back being all badasssss.
