illustrator is cool. haha anything where i get to design and draw is fine and dandy with me. but costume and character development are my favourites

Aww! You shouldn't lose esteem! Your stuff is great!
Whenever you're feeling a bit down, just look back on your old work (if you have any from a few years ago), seriously, makes you feel a lot better. xDD
I feel like I never improve, but once I look back, I realised I have, it's a really good pick-me-up.
As for getting the job, just stay optimistic, you'll get there!

You should open commissions if you haven't already, I'm sure you'd get some people interested!
