Thana looked out in the Balcony at night where a soft cool breeze blow through her mane and furr as she looks out around her. She enjoyed the nights skys splendorous stars and colors. Especially the moon.

While Thana is looking out from the Balcony Quietly, Luna opens the door of the bedroom and sees Thana sitting on the Balcony. She shuts the door behind her with her magic and walks over to the mare.

"Enjoying my Night I see, Thana?" she asked the mare. Thanas ears perk up a little before it starts narrowing slightly.

"o-oh um..yes, quiet. I've..always enjoyed your night..its better than the bright sun if I must be honest with myself.." she said.

"So what are you doing out on the Balcony by yourself? You seem more quiet than usual since you've come and stayed." Luna said.

"I'm just..." the mare paused. "forgive me for being so silent..but this all happened so fast..I was alone, on my island since I was young with no memory of any sort of my parents. I've ruled my island for so long I..this-" before Thana continued, Luna set a hoof on her shoulder.

"I understand what your feeling right now. You've been alone for so long you've never experienced this before. That is why me and my sister took you in so you don't have to be alone anymore, Thana.. You don't deserve to be alone and do things alone. You have us and you also have your friends as well. Don't forget that that your not alone anymore.." Luna comforted the mare.

Thanas eyes soften with some hint of sadness in her blue eyes. "..I...t-thanks...Luna..but..why me..?"

"Pardon..?" Luna questioned.

"Why did you and your sister...the princess of the sun and moon..want to take me in? Arn't you two a bit worried or at least questioning about somepony like me? I am an bat Alicorn..surely you two must have deep caution on me.." Thana said as she looks down to her hooves.

Lunas ears drooped a bit as her blue eyes soften to the pink mare. "..Thana we would know if you were good or bad when we met you..we never seen an Alicorn Bat pony like you ever and its a rarity to find in Equestria..plus we know you wouldn't do any harm to us.." said Luna.

"how would you know that princess..?" Thana said as she gets worried but tries to mask it. "because I can tell by the look in your eyes." replied Luna. Thana looked up at her.

"You may try to mask your emotions, and you do well on that. however, your eyes tell a different emotion..I can tell in your eyes your worried, concerned..and frightened.."

Thana's ears went down "I-I'm not frighte-"

"You are.. stop acting strong and tough you cant keep this act forever.." Luna interrupted. "I know you don't like others to worry..nor you want us to think your weak, but listen Thana we have emotions and that is what makes us strong..especially us Alicorns. You cannot hide your true emotions you can't always bottle them up forever.."

Thana growls lowly "I can..and I have for so long you cannot tell me that I cant..! You don't know anything I have to deal and live with since I was a foal!"

"No I don't but I know you are at your breaking point because you try so hard to mask your emotions, and the more you hide the easier you break!" Luna said

"S-Stop just Lea-!" Thana was cut off with Luna embracing her in a tight hug. Thana was a bit shocked "l-luna I-I.." she said in a wincing voice.

"..let it out...please...Thana you've held it in for so long.." Luna spoke softly, not letting her go of her anytime soon.

Thana starts to shake as her cheeks turned red a bit. she refused to cry, however her eyes start to water "L-Luna...why you s-so trusting on me..?" Thana stuttered as her voice starts to break.

"..because I know what its like to be in your position even if it was in a different circumstance but still..I know the pain of being alone." she said.

Thana tears up more and she hugs her back as she starts to cry in her shoulder. Luna hugs her more and rubs her back to comfort her. After what seems like hours, Thana finally stopped crying.

The sun was going to rise soon and Luna must prepare its time. "..I better set the moon down and let my sister raise the sun.." said Luna.

Thana nodded "yeah..I better get some rest, the sun is unsettling for my eyes and skin." She said as she rubs her watery eyes.

Luna nods and looked to her "if you want, I can rest with you since I mostly sleep during the day" she said. Thana blushes on her cheeks "Y-You don't have to!" she said as she turns to go inside and go to her bed. "I want to" said Luna as she watches her go. "Besides, It be nice to have cuddles~" Luna teased her.

Thana blushes and hide her face in her pillow "s-shut up luna!"

Luna smiled as she sets the moon down.
