Description The corrupted weather controllers send massive storms across the globe at the command of the Beholder. The rain from these storms warps the very fabric of reality and the world goes mad. Not everyone or everything is immediately affected, but heroes are pushed to their limits simply protecting those not yet warped.

The second pic in this series, it gives us our first look at three of the heroes involved, Fastlane, Wavelength and Power-Source as well as some of the insanity Beholder's power is inflicting on the planet.

I really like how Power-Source is done here. The pose is almost like Superman in a way

Well, the pose is kind of a classic and Superman has been rendered that way more than once, as has Captain Marvel (Shazam) and a number of other flying paragon types. Since Power-Source fits that general mold, it seemed appropriate.

I do consider Power-Source to the "Superman" of Vir Fortis. The device on his chest that scans his power levels is a homage to Ultraman

Showing a lot of real heroism!

Is it bad that I like how you show the back of Wavelength's costume? A lot of people don't think about what the back of the costume should look like, I know it's a little thing but I likeΒ small details like that. Nicely done!Β

It's not bad at all. Now, the fact that I, once again, screwed up a costume (I neglected the side-torso designs on Wavelength) is something that I'm happy you overlooked. As soon as I inked him I just knew there was something I forgot and a quick review of the reference pic you provided showed me what it was.

I'd noticed that but to me that's a very minor bit to have missed. Given all the characters your working with it's not too big of a deal.

I'm glad you're okay with it, but in future appearances, that mistake won't happen. I'm trying to be a less sloppy illustrator.

Where did you find Power Source? I can't find him anywhere in the creator's gallery.

Very nice work though.

Check the "Vir Fortis" folder in 's gallery. He's there.

INFERNO! With the Goblin Queen. Is there going to be a man-eating post-box in here somewhere?

Really dig your version of Power-Source, there. And they certainly come across as real heroes.

Oh crap. It's been forever since I thought about that storyline. Ah well, at least this one has no demons running about. I'm glad you like that rendition of Power-Source, but I'm sad to say there are no plans for a mailbox gone postal.

There was just something about that truck (which is brilliant and should be a reoccurring villain) that dredged Inferno up out of the depths of memory.

No postal mailbox?Β

Well, all the animated stuff in these pics I kind of treat like zombies, plus while I often engage in a bit of deconstructionist thought when it comes to super-heroes, I only occasionally indulge in the completely absurdist. More simply put, sorry, but I'm not making a killer delivery truck a recurring villain.

I'm just thankful all the other weird elements distracted anyone from mentioning the fact that the little homonculous that Fastlane rescued has hulk hands.Β

And here I thought he was a tribute to Warwick Davis...

So much for the further crimes and misadventures of Lemmy the Lorry, I guess...

I love how this pic turn out: heroes working together like a team

That's the plan. This way, in most pics there will be one or two focus characters and other characters in the background. Everyone's character should show up in multiple pics, so they all get the chance to be one of the primary characters.

Obviously in this pic, your guy is the focus character.
