Nah, Tolkien had it wrong. 13 is a baker's dozen, which is the number of doughnuts given when you order a dozen at the good doughnut shop. That's an extra treat for free. 13 is awesome.

yeah, I've only got it slated for 12 pages, but in all honestly, I could probably make a six issue mini-series out of it. I did a whole lot of trimming to get the prelude down to the three pages I alotted for it. It's pretty bare bones and the main story is the same way. Still, there should be enough space for each hero to smack and get smacked before the villains go down for the count.
