Another player on the cosmic scene is Solus. A human from Earth he is imbued with tremendous physical power. Much like many other individual cosmic champions, he uses his powers to promote justice and to oppose tyranny. Like many self-proclaimed heroes of the galactic community, he's earned the enmity of more than a few planetary empires and cosmic entities who don't share his moral code. His powers, as far as he's displayed, fit the general mold for an interplanetary crusader for justice. Super-strength, flight (both planetary and interstellar), self-sustained life support in space and other hostile environments, superior senses and energy projection are all capabilities observed or inferred from his actions. He no longer uses his Terran name, so who he was prior to becoming Solus is unknown. How he came to possess the cosmic power at his disposal is a story he has yet to tell.
