this is the rainbow cake i made for my best friends birthday.it was pretty hard work and it took 4 hours(!!!)
but in the end it was all worth it.
it turned out just like it was supposed to and it tasted really good!
(the drawing on top is a fat unicorn btw haha

K, so stupid question: How'd you get the layers to stick together? Did you bake the layers together or did you bake each one separately? I'm just trying to put together a game plan on making one of these myself. Yours looks so great! (and you haven't disabled comments yet in response to people asking stupid questions like I just did lol) I just thought you could give me a little advice. ^_^

that's absolutely no problem my dear!
when i was about to make this, i had so many questions concerning the layers too!
i decided to bake them all seperately which turned out to go pretty well!
so, i first baked the blue one, then the green one and so on and put a bit of the topping on each layer to stick them together!
really easy actually.
just make sure to use only a bit of cake mixture for each layer, otherwise your cake will get huuuuge!

i just made it out of a normal sponge mixture which i coloured with food colouring.
