MATAU SAYS NO NO NO NOT IN MY HOUSE, AIN'T NOBODY GOT TIME FOR YOU SKAKDI UHG GO AWAY! Speaking of skakdi look at my little babies in panel 2, aren't they just the most adorable things you've ever seen? They don't look too happy about their companion getting frozen on the beach, but they're cute when they're angry. Too bad they're about to get their butts whooped =^_^=

On a more serious note, this is one of the pages that went through more than one sketch. Even as I worked on this page in photoshop, I revised it and the revisions somewhat caused this page to be only 3 panels. But I'm sure that won't bother anyone, it just means more action in the next page

OK, last random note, I got the dramatic zoom in lines from , they were kind enough to make free, downloadable, TRANSPARENT zoom in lines that I can just drop onto the page and not have to do anything more. If anyone does a comic in the future- this resource is a real time saver!

After landing on the island of Mata-Nui after the Great Rescue, Vakama meets a desperate toa of psionics named Whakara who needs his help in an alternate reality. In this alternate reality, Team Metru is divided and Mata-Nui is overrun with Makuta, Steltians, and Skakdi led by a Steltian named Otorak and his Vortixx queen, Sorza. Whakara's been searching through other realities to find the "ideal" Vakama to reunite the Metru and liberate Mata-Nui from the Brotherhood. Unfortunately, canon Vakama was chosen and is almost unwillingly thrown headfirst into this quest he never really agreed to. As Vakama wanders his way through unfamiliar terrain, he seeks familiar faces but mainly meets hostility and skepticism. Where is Whakara? Why do his friends treat him this way? Where is the Vakama of this strange reality? Why are the Toa Metru divided? Can they be reunited and defeat Otorak and Sorza's forces before they take control of the entire island and everyone on it? Through Eyes of Fire will now be updated at indefinite intervals.
