Massive insppiration for the theme of this picture came from various artists with similar ideas (obviously) but most importantly the song Drowned in love by DJ Pon-3an absolutely amazing musician...
Initially this was just a sketch idea for a profile picture for skype.

Then I was told that it looked good.. and that just didn't hold well with me lol. (10 min throw together sketch kinda thing) so I decided to spend some actual time with it <3 found out a lot of neat stuff with this. Will be working more towards realistic quality stuff, or at least.. dropping the lines.
I absolutely loved drawing this. Thank you StealthLead for the unintentional nudge to do my best with this

I've tried several headphones: Sonys are too high, Sennheisers are too dull, Philips overdone the bass, but the Beats were perfect. The money was worth it.

Kay, this is getting quite annoying. What is so wrong with beats?
Is there an actual reason everyone hates them or are we all just being conformists hating them cause they're mainstream or something?
I quite enjoy my beats, and find absolutely nothing wrong with them.

They do sound good, but you are spending about 50% of your money on brand name. Buy a pair of Sennheiser HDs or an Audio Technica, and use your extra 3-500$ to get a new laptop.

Actually, the frequency response of beats are horrible. They're essentially $400 Skullcandy headphones. They don't even come close to comparing to headphones that cost half or even a quarter of the price. Sound canceling is probably the worst thing you can do to audio, it adds annoying white noise, and also, they feature a closed design. Semi open headphone designs work best, are more comfortable, lighter, and sound a lot better because they can reverberate a lot more than a closed design can. On top of that, good headphones have as flat of an EQ as possible. If you check the frequency response graph for beats, you'll see that it's anything but.

As others have said about the Beats, I agree that she more than likely would not be using them but to your credit they do look great and they are great looking headphones even if quality vs price is crazy
