I know enough of taxidermy to know that bird isn't stuffed, nor a fake.
That is a legitimate dead bird, so I ask myself the question what happened to it before this photo was taken.
Either they killed it. And I don't like stuff killed for the sake of art.
Or they found a dead bird and decided to use it for a quick shoot, which makes me doubt if it's a good idea to put that thing on your face when you have no idea what it died from, or what it was carrying.

how is this amazing? the lady is holding a dead bird and you don't really care about that? how is the a bird carcass held against a lady's face beautiful? in that case, i might as well take a deceased turtle, hold it to cover my face, and call it artwork.

Feel free to do so. If you can, in holding a dead turtle to your face, manage to capture the same mysterious feeling and profound effect/meaning as the original artist did with this photo, then it too would be artwork. And you could be proud of it. There is a certain beauty in death, after all; as long as you didn't kill the turtle itself merely for the purpose of the photo, then what would be wrong with remembering its life like this? It's macabre, but most things are nowadays, and there is nothing wrong with meeting the reality of mortality with a certain degree of goodnatured humour and appreciation.

Honestly, if you were planning to complain, you didn't have to look at it. 18+ implies that we have to at least pretend to act mature. c:

it's not just the fact that she picked it up, it's the focus of the camera, the model's pose, the beauty of her skin contrasting with the darker tones of the image...it's beautiful art, and if you're going to whine and act like you know everything at least back up your comments before insulting someone's work.
