Description I am practicing my map making skills again. This is another simple map, hopefully without too much lag. There is even a classic map to go with it, so everyone knows the names of landmarks. The link isΒ  www.mediafire.com/download/6oj… here, all files should go into the exports folder.

This map is free for exploring, role-playing, and hanging around. I only ask that no one tries to kick others out; if you're being bothered, block them rather than picking a fight. Other than that, simply follow the rules that FH has established and be sure to have fun.

Copyrights:

The terrain and height maps belong to me.

The basic trees, shrubs, and textures belong to feral heart.

The log is a Ham-Mesh that I acquired here.

The birch trees were acquired <[link] > here.

The stone arch is a DrekObjects and as per the rules that go along with it is not included in my object file. If you'd like to see it on this map you'll have to go <[link] > to this link and get it.

XD. Not nearly as big as the maps I used to make, but those were terribly laggy because I wanted areas with realistic amount of foliage.

Downloaded it, seen it, and I must say good job. No lag, nice map and good placing of objects. You do have room for improvement, the mask could be a bit more blended to create a more natural looking grass, and overall look. I was kinda hoping for some sort of secret place, but I guess it's fine since it's just a simple public map. You can add more trees without the lag, too. Good job and keep going! ^-^

Thank you very much for the feedback. Masks are one of the hardest things for me to make, and I'm not sure why. When the colors overlap the map ends up with bright yellow streaks and when I make sure they don't touch the streaks are black. I think I just need to mess with it until I figure out what I am doing wrong.

Sorry there are no secrets. I usually like to make hidden areas; if I update it I'll try to add a couple just for you.

I'm glad there's no lag. I tried to restrain myself from adding a bunch of trees, but then I had to add more to indicate there were actual forests. So I was worried about it.

Just just have to experiment with masks, it's a thing to play with. I don't know why it would do that, it always blends nice for me.Β 

No secrets are fine, although it does give a little joy to the user ^^
