The sun was setting over the dusty plains of the desert, Our vehicles pulled into the drive way. I climbed off from Kobra's bike and took off my helmet, as I started to walk away Kobra then pulled me back closer to him, and he whispered in my ear.

"Hey, are you ok, If your feeling sore just go lie down, and don't worry I wont tell them." When he said this he had the cutest grin ever and he kissed me on the cheek.

Then Cyanide and Lithium walked past us hand in hand. Lithium pulled down Cyanides bandanna and kissed her on the lips, but Cyanide showed a look of disgust as we had just returned from our mission at Better Living Industries and some of S/C/A/R/E/C/R/O/W could have been following us and of easily seen Tasha's face, her cover was blown we ran inside as rays started firing at the house. Fun Ghoul and Jet Star seemed born for this and instantly turned around with their guns firing menacingly at the opponents.

"Gasoline take the guys in you know what to do!" Mikey smiled at me and I nodded back, I did know what to do!

I took the new recruitments inside and lined them up.

Misguided Vampire (Jemma), Radioactive Rose (Courtney), Crystal Chaos (Yani), Wildfire, Steel Sunshine (Thalia), Electric Lithium (Kayleigh), Cyanide Exterminator (Natasha/Seth), Audio Armour (James) and the other new Killjoys lined in front of me, They were grinning I knew why, When Mikey took me here I was so excited, but then I realised this isn't a game, this is real life and we are also taking other lives by saving our own.

"Listen all of you, The boys outside need back-up, and that's what we are! We will help them, but don't get all giddy about it or you'll end up ghosted, so keep your boots tight and keep your gun close, And... die with your mask on if you have to." I stole the pep talk that Dr. D gave to us a few weeks back, luckily the newbies wouldn't know that.

Their faces suddenly went serious, you could see the childish memories literally flooding in their gleaming eyes, But I could tell what they were thinking, they knew that what they were doing was for the best. But the Misguided Vamp suddenly burst out with " LETS KICK SOME SCARECROW ASS!!" And I nodded and we all ran outside making sure our faces were completely disguised this time. As I ran outside, my heart was thudding in my chest, I knew I shouldn't be out here. I had been pretty badly injured by Korse on our last misson, he had pushed me up against the wall by my throat and his grip was so hard I felt so defenceless, and then he shot me in the chest. But luckily Kobra Kid managed to run in and save me. I was just upset that I had to be saved by someone, I always try to act strong, but now I know that I am weak and I will probably have to rely on others again. Sigh.

Kobra was indicating me to come by him and quickly ran over.

"Your not well enough to do this!" He was stern when he spoke.

"I am Kobra, don't worry about me, focus on eliminating these draculoids!"

"Gasoline! How can I not worry about you, I.. I love you!" As he said this he pushed me into Dr. Death's van, he nodded to Party Poison and then he climbed inside and the van drove away. When Kobra pushed me my chest hurt more, but also the thudding in my chest from him telling me he loved me made it slightly worse.

When I looked up I saw Kobra was almost in tears.

"Mikey, what's wrong?" I was a little worried.

"Nothing I was just thinking if I had left you with Korse a little longer you'd be dead, but If I had come quicker you wouldn't have stitches in your chest, It's all my fault!"

I smiled and pulled his face closer to me.

"Its not your fault at all, in fact, it's your fault that I am still alive, Thank you so much! You kn...." Before I could finish talking, Mikey leaned in and kissed me. I went bright red from blushing and my cheeks went red hot. When Mikey put his hand on my face and felt how hot it was.

"Your not doing better, you red hot!" I suddenly realised what he said was true and I felt really sick, then my eye lids felt so heavy and then they started to close. My head felt woozy and then everything went black.
