Uh, yeah I just realized I never uploaded the photos of the costumes I made this past Halloween. >.< How in the world did I miss that?!?! Anyways. Yes, I did Red Riddinghood last year. The circle skirt style and color makes it much more period I think. I also thought about making it an actual dress but decided against it because of the time frame I had to find a good pattern to use and the amount of fabric I wanted to use. The cape was lots of fun to make too! It's red velvet with plush fabric sewn on the sides to look fur like. I hate the fact that all the stores I've found so far don't sell actual fur like material! Erg, that needs to change. >.>Anyways, excuse the messiness of the rest of the room! I'd like to say it's better now, but nope... Ah yes and the blurry photography. *sigh

ello Nakama! What an amazing costume! Sucks that you couldn't find real fur like material. But the thing is that the fur like material tend to clot together and get really gross after you wash them a couple of times, eep~ though I do love furry stuff. anyway getting distracted...
That robe is so amazing, putting it on would make me feel like a princess hehe.
The painting behind the mannequin -is that a fox looking like it's stuck in a picture? It's pretty funny XD

That is true about fur... But sometimes it just looks better. The cape is very comfy! It's crushed velvet so it's warm and super soft.
oh that painting? It's Wiley-coyote. You can't see the whole thing but he's missing part of his arm and is freeking out about it. >.< I've had it for years and refused to let it go. I also have a matching one for Roadrunner too.
