They already grow houses this way, it's a start. Just a hint of green, a little like metal. And Lisa is a great name.

plus, if it runs out of fuel in the middle of nowhere, it can double as firewood.

Very cool. I always like organic armour concepts, and this is well done.

Oooooohhhhhh armies of bamboo robots, that would be so cool.
If you wanted it bigger and better you wouldn't have to pay anything for it, just wait for it to grow.
Great work, and a really nifty idea.

I love it, a few green bamboo leaves here and there would be amazing, like I love the twisted bamboo idea, got some in my office here, haha, i forget to water it and it's still indestructible. I see your concept most vividly in the robot's calf musculature, it's just a great idea. I'm also imagining cross-sections of bamboo, how you can see all the capillarys in it, I see some of that going on in his joints. The retaining pin looking things on the outside of the joints are a nice touch, too. This is clever, man.

Well, I sure don't mean to suggest any changes...
I'm not really about spamming "great work" on a bunch of people's stuff.
I just know from looking at your whole body of work that when you get an idea, you explore it in many ways, and wanted you to know that visually: you're really getting great ideas across to your viewers.
To me, you're kind of like a new-world master treading in places never gone before.
