Asher is capable of consuming and processing metals and some solid inorganic materials which he can then use to replicate and reform as armor to increase durability and strength.
Biologically, Asher has a two chambered stomach that has more epithelial cells and heightened hydrochloric acid production with the aid of a heart valve that leads to his stomach much akin to alligators and crocodiles. To compensate for the higher hydrochloric acid he produces in his stomach, his teeth have been strengthened with a protein laced goethite compound. His body has adjusted to the consumption of metals to an extent to the point he needs to consume more iron than regularly needed. In order to consume, Asher sometimes uses the iron in his own body or supplements to coat his gums and teeth to strengthen them. While chewing he could use the material to coat his esophagus and stomach.
Armor HP and Buffs according to Moh’s Scale of Hardness
►Under 2.5: 5 HP +1 Buff to STR, -1 SPD
►3-2.5: 10 HP +1 Buff to DEF and +1 Buff to STR, -2 SPD
►6-3.5: 15 HP +1 Buff to DEF and +1 Buff to STR, -2 SPD, -1 Bal
►10-7: 20 HP +1 Buff to DEF and +1 Buff to STR, -2 SPD, -1 Bal
*Note: Buffs only effect areas covered by the materials. If the area is not covered, the buffs do not apply.*
Pros:
-After consuming materials, Asher commonly gets sharp teeth and spikes along his forearms and calves.
-Healthy hair and nails.
Neutral:
- It takes about 1 minute for Asher's body to process what he consumes and can then begin to form armor which can last for 20 minutes. It takes an additional minute for every potion of his body to be covered except his torso/back which is 3 minutes. It takes a whole 14 minutes for Asher to be fully armored. For example it would be 1 minute for his forearms & hands, another minute for his whole arms, another for his shins & feet, head & neck, etc. However his torso will be 3 minutes and his back will be an additional 3 minutes. There is no specific order in which the armor is formed.
-Asher can dismantle his armor on will- however he will still need to wait a full cooldown no matter how far along he is within his normal limits.
-Asher must consume about 1/3rd of a cups worth of the material for it to be effective and provide armor.
-When eating metals, Asher’s speed stat is reduced to 0 and and redistributed between his strength and defense, defense taking a precedence over strength if the number is odd.
-Can manipulate his armor for only movement purposes, facial expressions, etc. He cannot un-dent his armor or reform over spots that have been destroyed unless he eats again.
-Some inorganic materials Asher can consume is objects like rocks, dirt, calcium, obsidian, etc.
-When using his ability his sclera turn black.
-When finished using the armor, it shatters into small fragments.
Cons:
-Can only use one material at a time. It can not stack with multiple materials.
-It only covers his skin, hair, nails, etc.- not his clothes or armor.
-Indigestion is a common reaction that effects Asher later and can last for 2 - 3 hours.
-Usually needs to purge the material but doesn’t save him from indigestion.
-After the 20 minutes are up, Asher needs a cooldown period of 10 minutes before he can consume and remake armor once more while most likely have increased indigestion.
-Can cause anemia.
-Indigestion is a common reaction that effects Asher later.
-He can’t eat anything like fire, lava, light, shadow, oil, any gases, liquids(mercury), poison, etc. Without suffering from normal human effects.
-Most materials he will need to swallow rather than chew since the highest grade metal Asher can produce off the bat is iron, he won’t be able to chew anything tougher. i.e. Diamonds, titanium, steel, etc. Check Mohs Hardness Scale of Minerals for most references.
-High force impacts can damage or dent armor depending upon material. Denting the armor will make it highly uncomfortable and even constrict the user.
-Being in armor makes him heavy. So he can sink easily or fall through unstable structures, etc.
-Even though he can consume more metals that can be considered toxic, he needs to consume more than the regularly needed amount. He can still intoxicate himself if he consumes too much metal. He also may need Chelation Therapy from time to time.
-Metal detectors, magnets, electricity and fire(overheat and can still burn).

History:
Growing up in Florida has its perks: the sun, the beaches, the tourism, Disney world, some would argue the smokin’ hot babes, the humidity, sporadic rain showers and the copious amounts of swamps filled with killer animals… But most of all- the ocean. Living in a state that is a peninsula means being surrounded by it and the ocean has always been a big part of Asher’s life ever since he was a baby. While his mother, Ava Jones, worked at her own law firm to get the daily bread, his father- Keaner Jones, took the kids to the sandy beaches whenever there was an opportunity- before school, after school, the weekends. Since his father is a retired Marine, he had the time to look after the kids and take care of them, using the beach as a place he was familiar with. The ocean was always there. And it was in Cape Coral that Asher has the fondest memories of what the ocean should be- the tropical paradise on posters and in vacationer’s dreams. And it’s where his love for water and the ocean comes from.
But not everything is sunshine, rainbows and cartoons all the time. When Asher was five, he was found eating coins by his parents, despite the horrors of having to deal with the fact that their son had eaten some coins- they were more shocked by what came next. Seeing Asher coated in copper, but it didn’t seem to harm him. Trying to come to grips on the situation, they decided to deal with the coins first. After the danger was over and Asher returned to normal and Asher was scolded for eating something he shouldn’t, the couple heavily debated about what had just occurred, afraid to seek out assistance. However they inquired their family about anything unusual. A lead was given to them by Asher’s uncle, Joseph, recalling the crazy stories he was told to by his grandmother about their grandfather eating metal but had believed them to be nothing more than that- stories of fiction. Digging into old photos and records proved nothing to them. But the parents decided to not tell anyone outside of the family, fearing for their son’s safety.
Things began returning to something relatively normal- however during first grade it became apparent he was having difficulty in school. His teacher was able to catch onto it quickly and suggested testing with the school’s child psychologist. It was concluded that Asher is dyslexic, having difficulty in mathematics and language arts. He was soon enrolled into an independent learning program to help him adapt to his challenges. The program helped to overcome a few obstacles he was facing by teaching him learning tools and providing tutors. But Asher began to develop insecurities- to overcome them he became something of the class clown and got in trouble with the teachers at times. Thankfully, not many children picked on him overly much because he was rather tall for his age. But considering that both his parents, uncles, aunts and grandfathers were tall people- being tall was to be expected.
It was during grade school that his math teacher began tutoring him at home to help him learn that he was introduced to the drums, his teacher played them and worked part time in a band. So lessons became a fusion of math and music. The lessons continued until his teacher was forced to retire based on parental opinions and Asher moved into middle school. Asher continued to play the drums, but also began taking up surfing lessons since it was something he had been wanting to do for a while but was now old enough by his parent’s standards to begin. It was also during this time that he found some other like minded music students and they began to collectively gather after school hours to play together. It wasn’t until their freshman year of high school that they began to form an actual band they named Rocket Rogues. With their parents permission, they went on a few gigs under supervision. It was also during this time that Asher began to change his look, dying his hair, a new set of clothes, etc. And taking risks. Finding a new hobby in fireworks and making small explosions with the help of his friends and the infamous internet. While Asher’s mom wasn’t that thrilled with it and argued with his father- Asher’s dad told him to live his life and dreams as long as it didn’t hurt him or anyone else. And to be responsible.
The band lasted until Senior year when the lead singer, Luke Page thought that he deserved more credit in the band and therefore more of a say in matters than anyone else. The band soon split after that over bad terms. With the band broken, Asher focused on what he needed to do next- his future. He wanted to follow in his father’s footsteps and after consulting his parents, they allowed him to sign up after he graduated. When he was seventeen, Asher began boot camp at Paris Island Recruit Department and was then sent to Camp Lejeune thereafter. He was soon sent to do bilateral training overseas with his battalion and the Royal Marines.
Ultimately he wanted to join the Marine Raiders, working hard for some time and coming back to Camp Lejeune for assessment. Much to his delight, he was accepted and began training thereafter, leaning more of his interests and focus into breaching a building with the use of explosives. It was during his time at camp when he was free that he began taking that interest into a more technical level- breaking things down into more than just using equipment- but also knowing the ingredients and materials within them to better understand them and pushing to become a Explosive Ordinance Technician within the Raiders.
It wasn’t much longer after that he was deployed to Afghanistan. It was during a hostage rescue situation that had turned for the worse that Asher decided to break his promise to his parents for the sake of his team, consuming a large amount of iron over the few days- and much to his unit’s shock upon discovering his ability. However, it helped them save not only their lives, but the hostages too. After the mission was finished, everyone made a promise not to speak about it and no one thought much of it after that until Asher began showing serious symptoms of iron poisoning upon return to base. He was medevaced to Landstuhl, Germany before transport to Bethesda, Maryland where he underwent a liver transplant. Soon after, Asher was honorably discharged from the Marines and returned home when able to recover. His parents and siblings were all glad he was back and alive, doing whatever they could to assist him. Once he was healthy enough and he waited for reevaluation, Asher began working security for a night club. When he was reevaluated, he was rejected and couldn’t go back into service much to his disappointment. Asher continued working at the club and began thinking of what to do next in his life- considering work as a police officer with a goal of becoming a bomb technician where his ability could be of more use and hidden under a suit.
While he was working at the club, he was looking over the security monitors that the screens turned to static, being offered another chance at helping people by 000. Accepting the arrangement, Asher soon went to undergo training at the Agency, hoping to become a specialist.

Roleplay Sample:
Raising both arms in the air, Asher felt his muscles stretch, extending his body to it’s full length as he let out a strained groan until it was ended by a loud sigh of relief. A large grin then creased his lips as he placed his hands on his waist. His eyes then went to the pool water below him as he inhaled slowly, his breath hitching in his throat.
The large man took a few running steps before making a leap, pulling his legs up to tuck against his chest and his arms to lock around his shins as he yelled, “CANNONBALL!” Quickly he held his breath as his body hit the water, making a large splash and sending water flying in all directions. He felt the water envelop around him, soon untangling himself and feeling his toes scrape the bottom of the pool. He kicked, sending himself to the surface and broke through, flinging his arms out of the water as he smiled triumphantly, “ten out of ten! And the crowd goes wild!” He clasped his hands together, shaking them over each shoulder a few times as he imitated the hush of a crowd.
It was then that he noted the looks from the other people in the pool, his smile faltering for a few moments before it latched back onto his face, “come on and liven’ up a little! It’s a pool it’s made to be fun.”
