Axel's mother (Who was a wolf) left Edmund and Axel when Axel was a baby, thus leaving Edmund to raise his son on his own. He never remarried because one is that he does not want his heart broken again and two he wants to be close to his son and raise him to be the best gentleman around. Edmund, along with his brother Silver Wolf (Who is one of my Lupes on Neopets) raised Axel. This pic shows Axel when he was in his late teens with his father, about to ride Axel's horse, Shadow.
