Out of all the Dallies I've got in my arsenal so far, Dangan!Dallie is probably my favorite.

Why? Maybe it's the coat.

Maybe it's the idea of her flipping her shit and snapping at someone due to the stress of the Killing Game and/or pointing out various "what the actual FUCK??" moments that were probably ignored/brushed aside in canon.

Maybe it's the idea of her becoming the mother figure to various characters and helping them deal with their shit, since that's usually my go-to thoughts when I hear some of their backstories (half the time it feels like a choice between "Where the fuck are your parents." and "Where the fuck is your therapist.")

Maybe it sounds like a neat way to flesh her (and by extension, Dalex) out a bit more, wherein her experiences in either the Killing Game or a Non-Despaired life at Hope's Peak Academy teaches her that she can't help everyone, and she shouldn't shoulder everything by herself or she'll collapse under the pressure. And at the same time, she can let other people help her. That she shouldn't feel forced to hide her own burdens after spending so much time tending to everyone else.

Now if only I could get around to actually drawing/writing this all out instead of letting it boil and fester inside my brain and leak out here and there in various asks/art descriptions; my DR folder needs more than just pics of Pink Coat Dallie =w=""
