Without a doubt, Lemmy was the one who latched onto Dalex first. ...Literally. XD

If Lemmy wasn't hanging out with Iggy or his cousin Ludwig, then chances are he was clinging onto Dalex in some way. He found it fun to hang off the bigger Koopa's arms or tail, and pretend it was his own little circus act. Dalex was never bothered by it, if anything he was actually charmed by Lemmy's antics, occasionally playing along by narrating Lemmy's tricks like an actual ringleader.

Despite what his goofy attitude implied, Lemmy actually became the first to know Dal personally, at least regarding his insecurities and secrets. The Yoshi Kid incident, his fear of jealousy, the internalized belief that Koopas are naturally prone to violence, Lemmy knew almost all of it. And he swore to keep it a secret from anyone and everyone, including Ludwig, which really said something.

In truth, Lemmy's playfulness actually increased twofold once Dalex confided in him. Lemmy hoped to prove Dalex's fears wrong, that Koopas aren't destined to become monsters. Not even Bowser is a full-on beast, though it took Dalex a while to believe such a thing, considering the King's... "reputation," as it were.

Not once did Lemmy give up on Dal, even when his beliefs refused to budge. He may not have been able to find the circus all those years ago, but he could still help this one strange purple guy smile with pride at his Koopa heritage.

This he swore.
