The first time i saw it it looked like the car went through the portal, thenΒ immediately returned a few feet back and went through it again.
Been lookin at it for 2 minutes now and this shit doesn't happen again.
I'm not crazy.. am I?

I mean it loops back to the start, but as far as going back a few frames to go in to the portal again, I don't think so.
It might have been just a connection problem or something while it was loading the gif, like it played through a few times without showing and only showed up again.
I dunno.

Great animation! I like the movement of the camera and the car. The car color contrasts well with the pink portal and the dark purple area. The landscape is varied (blocks, hills) and the reflection on the floor is nicely done. I like the angle chosen and the impression of speed. You did a wonderful job, keep it up!

Killer work, mate! What texture did you use to make the ground look wet? I'm assuming its a map plugged into the glossiness parameter.

Pretty much, I've got a pbr shader set up for blender, and it's just a grayscale texture plugged into the roughness.
It ends up looking wet due to the angle/Fresnel.
As for the texture, it was just a mix between some clouds and some noise at differing sizes.
