would you say zbrush is easy to learn? I have no prior knowledge of 3d programs-

Looks like standard Shepard and Zaeed (from Mass Effect 2) put together...
That's not a bad thing.

Wow! Great job. I just picked up a copy of zbrush, do you recommend any good tutorials for it?

The ones up on Pixologic.com are pretty comprehensive. There's also a huge zbrush community on zbrushcentral.com

Amazing work! I worked with Cinema 4D for a semester but 3D was really beyond me. Still, wish I knew more about it.

Seeing as I'm going into college for this, it couldn't hurt to know, what exactly is Zbrush? I've seen it mentioned along with Maya.

Zbrush is a 2.5D program that's been re-purposed so artists can "sculpt" 3D objects to create hi-poly meshes, bake normal maps, or even make a 3D print-out.

I understood a little bit of that, but thank you for informing me, I'm sure it'll make more sense come the 19th.

Lookin good.
May I ask how you got that white "rim" light?
I never figured out how to apply light sources in zbrush

You don't. I just used one of their materials in the program and did polypaint on top of that.
