If she was having 1000 babies instead, imagine the effort she would have to go through pushing them out, feeding them (she would need a few truckloads of baby food for this), changing their nappies by the truckload every day, and tending to any who are crying (She would be exausted in a few days!). Arnold and his friends might put the 1000 babies up for adoption for singles or couples who cannot conceive...
