every drawing is a practice on some level. the more you draw, the more your hand and mind learn the motions of it and know the pitfalls.
I had a mix of tutorials and trial and error to help me along with an art class.
(only had 1 since 6th grade and I'm going into 10th, I basically taught myself here XD)
