this part scared me. seeing them go through so much together for artemis to just walk away from her as she's lying there dying and begging for help. i know she survives but this part sucked

I know what you mean, this scene in the book is just so intense. (There were other scenes where it seems like characters might die, but always even if other characters thought other characters were dead, we would get a scene beforehand showing they weren't actually dead. Here, it just happened, and then with the emotional side of her last vision of Artemis is asking him for help, and him just turning away--so indescribable.)

gyosh, this is what made me cry!
And Artemis too.
I love how he turns around like "oh, what?" then suddenly his eyes look so desperate.
