- Powder Snow - Gabbi attacks with a chilling gust of powdery snow. This may also freeze the opposing Pokemon.
- Yawn (Egg Move) - Gabbi lets loose a huge yawn that lulls her target into falling asleep on the next turn. This was a Egg move inherited from her father, a Bibarel.
- Attract - If they are the opposite gender of Gabbi, her target becomes infatuated and less likely to attack. However, Gabbi struggles with perfecting this move properly. She has moments where she manages to infatuate her target, but she's not used to using this move and dealing with the, er... attention she gets from it. So as a result, whenever the Cubchoo does go to use this move, she might get a little nervous during the execution of it and mess up.
- Icy Wind - The user attacks with a gust of chilled air. This also lowers the opposing Pokémon's Speed stats.
Inventory:
-Guild Issued Vest
----Description: A simple vest supplied by the Explorer's Guild for Gabbi. The only thing slightly different about the vest is the color of it, which is an icy blue color, much like the shade of blue of Gabbi's eyes. It did take a while for the Cubchoo to decide on what guild clothing item she wanted, plus she hasn't started wearing it since she first received it. But she says the minute she feels she is "ready to officially start as an Explorer", she will gladly put it on. To her, to "officially start" might just mean when she goes on her very first mission or task, whenever that'll be. But perhaps it'll be sooner than that. Maybe.

========== WRITTEN TEST ==========
A single streak of blue sky between the dense clouds above Andalusst City marks the start of an unpredictable morning, and it seems like rain or shine could develop at a whim. The assorted traders and pedestrians mulling about seem to be a little wary, trying to park their stalls and carts in shaded areas or making efforts to keep their dry produce hidden away for now.
While the Explorers Guild Hall isn't exactly the most eye-catching building, it still has a somewhat homely feel to it, even though Gabbi's party has only just finished registering. The Explorers seem to have a certain unmistakable aura to them, though one in particular happens to meet the shiny Cubchoo's gaze.
After thanking the receptionist who helped sign her in, Gabbi turned around then perked up a bit when she saw the Pokemon look over at her and lock eyes for a moment. She stared curiously over at them, a slight tilt to her head. But then her look of curiosity turned into a friendly grin that showed over her slight overbite as she waved in a friendly manner over at the individual.
The Servine leaning against a nearby wall inclined her narrow snout toward Gabbi and gave a little nod, her bright eyes briefly visible under the shadow of her hat.
The Cubchoo takes that gesture of the Grass-type's as a sign to come close a little closer, and proceeds to walk up to them. But regardless of whether the Servine actually needed something or wanted to talk with Gabbi, the ice bear was more than happy to just introduce herself to the stranger. Which to others, might not have seemed like a good idea for when meeting someone you aren't sure about.
But that didn't stop Gabbi any less, a friendly smile on her face and small wag to her puffball of a tail.
"Hey... New, are you?" The Servine spoke with a hint of caution, but her tone was otherwise welcoming. "Hmm, stupid question. 'Course you are, I saw you sign in. Admittedly I'm not great with this meet and greet stuff, so how about exchanging names to start things off? You first."
"Alrighty then! M'name's Gabbi, an' it sure is nice ta' meet ya, Miss!" Gabbi chirped up immediately when given the chance, her tone of voice just as cheerful as she appeared to be. She seemed to have an accent of some kind, which was apparent enough when she spoke. It wasn't a heavy one, but it was a distinct Southern accent that seemed to flow easily out of her mouth and past her slightly downward protruding teeth with no lisping, as one would assume from the bucktoothed gal.
Upon receiving this cheery yet polite response, the Servine relaxed a little, folding her small arms across her chest. "Ahh, that's great. Yeah, when you said your name just then, it had that... that "zing". It means you're serious about this, yeah? As for me, my name's Teresa."
Gabbi nodded. "Alright then, Miss Teresa! Ya have a nice name too, yup yup~!" She grinned a bit.
The Servine waved a leafy hand dismissively as she replied, "Oh no, no need to add 'Miss' to the name, honestly. Just Teresa will do. But then again, I'm what you'd call a Guild Assistant, which makes me your Serperior."
Gabbi caught the joke rather quickly and gave a little giggle and a quiet snort. "Heh, tha's a good one!" She snickered, covering her mouth a bit to stifle her little snort more.
Teresa stared at Gabbi with a blank face for a moment, then giggled quietly. "You know, you don't have to be so polite. I don't really care about rank and file, but I do care about honesty. If I tell a joke and it sucks, feel free to roll your eyes."
It was now the shiny's turn to wave a paw dismissively, as she replied back, "Aw, no, it was just fine! I mean, it wasn't tha' funny of a joke, I admit, but it was still a tad bit funny~ I wouldn't giggle otherwise, ya know!" She smiled.
Smiling politely at the Ice-type, Teresa extended one of her thin, green vines and nodded, expecting a handshake even though she kept her arms folded. Gabbi gratefully took hold of that vine with her paw, giving a rather firm handshake to it. Despite being an Ice-type though, her hand didn't feel much like the cold at all. It was warm and friendly, much like the Cubchoo's overall disposition.
"So what brings you here, anyway?" The Servine asked curiously. "You from out of town, or...?"
"Sure are! I happen ta' have lived right here in Andalusst fer as long as I can remember! I used ta' stay with my Ma an' Pa, an' my Ma wasn't too keen on me goin' to be an Explorer, but I managed ta'... Well, convince her an' my Pa in the end."
Gabbi gave a little sheepish grin, insinuating that she hadn't really managed to convince her parents of going off on her own before she'd left. In fact, it wasn't all that true, and she'd left the house with just a note left for them to go by on where she headed off to. Then soon after, she'd managed to start convincing them to let her stay at the Explorers' Guild, build a team, and become part of the guild and its duties. Although, she was more so convincing her mother, since she'd been more than adamant on her daughter not going to the Explorers' Guild. Her father, on the other hand, knew how strongly Gabbi had felt about this entire thing, and merely allowed her to go if she so chose to. He was, after all, an Explorer once himself.
Satisfied with her answer, Teresa nodded and withdrew her vine. "Cool, cool... Well, whatever the case, you've got a name in mind for your group, right? I didn't get a chance to check your papers, but I do want to get more familiar with our rookie members when I have the time. I'm kinda new to this whole assistant thing, honestly."
"Ah, well, I wanted ta' name my team Polar Frost! Team Polar Frost! It obviously has ta' do with my Ice-typin', which works fer me now. But hopefully, whenever I get a partner, th' name won't matter as much, regardless of what their typin' might be." Gabbi said, a chipper grin on her face again.
A smile crept over her narrow features when she heard the given name of Gabbi's new team, though it's ambiguous as to whether she found it inspiring or amusing for other reasons. "There's that "zing" again. Feels good to know we've got Pokémon like you joining our Guild. I guess Cassidy wasn't exaggerating when he said the standouts just keep pouring in. Just don't get cocky - confidence is good, but overconfidence in a dungeon is a quick way to get yourself in trouble, along with everyone else in your party."
Gabbi nodded in response, "Yup, yup~! Will do!"
She tapped the side of her snout, then clicked her tiny fingers as another question enters her mind. "Oh right, this is very important - why did you want to become an Explorer, hm? Just curious..."
"Well... Ta' be honest, it's simply been a big hope an' dream for me ta' be an Explorer! I've always been interested in becomin' one ever since I was lil' cub. My Pa used ta' tell me all these stories about when he was an Explorer, way back in his younger days. They were such great tales tha' I only wanted ta' know what it was like more an' more as I grew. By th' time I was ten, I knew tha' I wanted to become a amazin' Explorer jus' like he was." Gabbi gave a dreamy expression as she spoke, the memories and nostalgia of listening to her father's stories still fresh in her mind and implanted in her heart to this day.
The shiny Cubchoo then adds, "I also want ta' be an explorer so I can help others in need an' make new friends~! Th' adventurin' and stuff is great an' all, an' it's ideal for me, but I also like puttin' a smile on someone else's face, doin' th' best I can when I'm needed or wanted, and overall gettin' a good job done." She smiles.
Teresa listened patiently to the explanation, but as soon as Gabbi was done with the tale, she immediately began speaking again, her words leaving her mouth more rapidly and urgently than before. "...Because ultimately, the people come first, yeah? There's lots of food in the dungeons, and materials for clothing and medicine! When we go out and find that stuff, it means everyone here gets to have dinner. I mean, you know that, obviously, but just don't forget!"
Gabbi nodded her head immediately in response. "Yup, yup! Sure thing, tha's right~!
Teresa swayed her leaf-adorned tail from side to side and tapped her foot, momentarily distracted by her own thoughts, and a wanting grin plastered across her face. When she snapped back to reality, she lifted her snout into the air and cleared her throat. "N-not to sound standoffish, but what exactly do you do, anyway? What skills or talents do you have to offer the Guild? Everyone's good at something, I think."
Gabbi gave a thoughtful hum. "Hmmmm, well, I can certainly help ya'll with missions an' tasks an' whatnot. Not a problem there~! I also happen ta' be stronger than I look. Even I don't really know how strong I am at times!" Gabbi burst out into a small bout of laughter before saying, "Either way, Ah'm willin' to do what I can for ya, Teresa!" She stood up a little straighter and gave a proud look, further saying that she was quite capable and willing to do anything for the Explorers' to show that.
Even before Gabbi properly finished answering, Teresa clicked her fingers and pursed her lips, as if hearing that mythical zing yet again. "I can just feel it, you do what you do and do it with everything you've got. 'Cause in this guild, when a giver gives, then the giver gets... gotten... gets give-- eh, well you get what you give, or something. Whatever, it's written down on that big plaque in the hall. Just do your best and come see me if you need any help."
Gabbi's jaw dropped a bit in surprise at Teresa's words. "Y-ya... Ya mean, Ah'm... Ah'm in th' Explorers' Guild now?"
"Well... Let's say I'll leave that for you to figure out on your own, Gabbi. Goodbye for now~" Sounding much more cheerful than when she'd first approached, Teresa gave the stunned, shiny Cubchoo a little wave and turned to immediately engage another group of recruits nearby, no doubt asking them similar questions. The life of a Guild Assistant must be a busy one.
Gabbi's face lit up brightly almost immediately after Teresa said her parting words and walked off. She jumped up in the air and pumped her fist up, shouting happily,
"YAHOOOO~! AH'M IN~ Explorers' guild, here I come!"
Gabbi then ran around a bit, hooting and hollering and earning some stares as she frolicked and danced about after hearing her acceptance into the Guild.
She was so close now. Close to the start of her dream to become an amazing Explorer...
