So... Yeah... There's a bit too much purple in it, but I still like it.I had an explosion of creativity this week and last weekend, thanks to Eilie Autumn's amazing music!
I've been writing my poetry better, and drawing better! Yay!
I thought this would end up a lot more colorful, but I guess not. :/

Haha! I don't really know how I draw backgrounds myself.
I'll start to draw out a person, and then just stare at the picture for hours. (or minutes)
If the picture is worthy of a background, I'll eventually just start drawing random things and then it'll form a background.
But I normally need to look at something that inspires me, or listen to music that inspires me. That's kinda what I did with this one. ^^

yeah, i agree with you. there's a lot of that one shade of purple and it's kinda overkill.
but, i really like your lineart! that's what made me take a look at this in the first place. i'm always amazed when people are able to fit so many elements into a picture and have them fit well!
