I'm still on the fence about how she looks in this game.

Yeah, I know what you mean. I think she looks prettier in DOA5. You know it’s Ayane but there’s something different from the previous version.

I agree. She looks nondescript most of the time in this game. She was more expressive in 5 and X3.
I'm not sold on her other features changing so much, either. Team Ninja can't make up their minds.

I’ve on got a chance to play for about 10 mins. I’ll play the story mode (there is one, right?) when I get a chance. May be she will look better there.
This remindes me of Ayane in Ninja Gaiden 3. It came out after DOA5 and there she looks somewhat different. It’s hard for me to put my hands on where exactly the changes were. Seems to me her face is rounder there or something. You’re right. They can’t make up their minds!

Yeah, haha, the story mode is there but totally forgettable I would imagine. I'll try it out here in a little bit. Maybe she'll better in cutscenes, where she can emote.
I like her new design in the sense that she looks more athletic and toned, which makes sense for her. What I don't like is that she now has rounder, softer facial features. In DoA5, she looked older and more mature. Here she definitely looks younger.
Her X3 look definitely was a good mix of old and new, IMO.
She definitely looked like she had rounder features in Ninja Gaiden 3, but if I recall she was canonically younger in that game so it would make sense. In DoA6 she's older, so I don't get it.

Oh, yeah. And what’s with just one winning pose! Ayane has a few winning poses in DOA5, and she looks so cute there. This one just has one and she looks kind of.........

Totally agree. She looked so good in 5, and her win poses were great.
Here? Not so much.

Well, I don’t mind if they make extra poses unlockable. However, I don’t know if that’s even the case!

Not yet at least. They'll release more win/loss and intro poses in upcoming patches. TN is listening to their playerbase, thankfully. They're completely fixing the costume unlock system after all the feedback they got over the weekend. That gives me a lot of hope for future support.

That sounds good! Can’t wait. It feels like a downgrade rather than an upgrade with just one pose! I played a bit more today, Ayane and Kasumi. I don’t know if I like the bruise effect. I prefer the girls’ faces without the wounds. May be I’ll turn off that effect!

Yeah, I turned it off too. I never was a fan of the general effects in DoA5 either. I like the game overall though! Playing it now and having a lot of fun with it.

Glad to hear that. Overall, I like it, too. Anything Ayane is always good.
BTW, were you able to see Ayane in 3D? I'm referring to the latest 2 pictures I uploaded.

I didn't see the 3D aspect, but I'll give it a try tomorrow. Great poses btw!

Thanks! Try the cross-eye method. It's a little easier to do.
