Thanks to the cool people for correcting me on what a cello player is called...heheI'm taking a class on drawing the figure in motion...we went to the University of Minnesota today and drew people in their school of music. It was pretty sweet. This class is crazy though...like you'll get crap for drawing realistically...but how are you realistically supposed to draw people moving anyway? This was one of the last sketches I did after I finally gave up caring what I was drawing, but I kind of like how it came out.
Um...this is just ballpoint pen on regular sketchbook paper...like 11 by 14 inches or so.

incredible piece, i absolutely love the movement and the abstract feel to it. are you taking classes and the U of M? i'm thinking of going there for collage...for art and chemistry...

The Tori thing is pretty sweet. When I come out to CA I will bring you copies. I think you have probably heard everything on it...I've heard all of it but a few exceptions...it is just super cool because it is organized by albums...like the first disc is Little Earthquakes "extended" so it has the songs she cut from it, andi n the book she says why they were cut and bla bla bla...it's really interesting. And the packaging is very elegant...with the plastic piano keys and everything!
