Description For DSC. It took me less than five minutes to do the linework, but I looked up after beginning to add in all of the details and it was about ninety minutes later.

Might be a good one to color ?

I was going to ask if I could colour him! It'll be a great opportunity to try colouring fur and where he's being all "Death from above!" the movement will be a challenge as well Yay!! You are mine, mouse, all mine!

hehe. Yeah, I hoped the pose would create a sense of him leaping down into a battle or something. Without the cape flailing behind him it might look more like he's on his feet, so I'm glad it looks convincing.

The eyes are really stark and bold, they creep me out like real mouse eyes. I really like the dented and chipped sword.

Thank you. That was inspired by official Mouse Guard art, where they gave the weapons a worn and weathered look.

It's amazing how much time can be spent just taking a few minutes to add in detail. However, it was well worth it.

Thanks very much. I've found I enjoy drawing animals, but I usually spend more time drawing people. You have some great pieces in your gallery, I'm going to try to keep an eye out for newer stuff.

Well, you've done a great job on this picture for sure. Mouse Guard is such an awesome comic and I'm impressed at how the characters actually look like animals, rather than anthro characters. (Not that there is anything wrong with anthro; I like those, too.) Thanks for the watch. I'm adding you to my watch list, as well.

Well I'm glad I did good with it. And I agree, it is unique in that regard among most current material. And thank you for watching, as well.
