Description I decided to do a cover recreation of the cover to the scarce final issue of the original Marvel Star Wars comic book series. But instead of trying to recreate it exactly, or even to draw the same image but in my own style, I wanted to have fun with it by featuring one character from each of the various Star Wars visual media. Google "star wars 107" to view the original comics cover.

Included are, from the video games HK-47. From the Dark Horse comics, Kir Kanos. From the Clone Wars animated series, Thisen. From the original Marvel comics, Jax Jaxxon. Of course, the action figures, and integral part of the Star Wars phenomenon, have to be represented, and who better than blue Snaggletooth. From the prequel trilogy is Ben Quadinaros, the original films Oola and some other friends and one of the several concept designs for Yoda.

This is super awesome. The blue Snaggletooth appeared for a bit in the Season 5 premiere of The Clone Wars, as a space station warehouse supervisor.

Thanks. I don't think I knew that about the blue Snaggletooth being included in an episode of the Clone Wars. Maybe there's a clip of it on youtube. I wonder what sort of voice was decided for him. It would be fun to see an animated style figure of him come from that, but I think they've stopped doing that style of figure, for now, anyway.

His Wiki entry is here . Not much cause it's a bit part, but there's an image of his head and shoulders there. You can see the jacket design is similar to your illustration!

Yes, it is . In the drawing, I gave him hair or fur on his hands, because I thought that both the red and blue Snaggletooth figures were like that. I didn't notice until after drawing it that the blue one has hairless hands. I did watch the portion of the episode that he appears in. It was very neat to see them incorporate him into the Clone Wars. I like the voice that they decided on, too.

Very good gallery, by the way! I like all of the creatures.

I actually like both characters visually. I've only read a few issues of the old Marvel comics with Jax, and I wouldn't know anything about Quadinaros without reading the wiki entry he has.

She definitely began an interests in Twileks for many. I saw a dance off drawing someone did of her and the green woman from Star Trek on tumblr the other day. Made me want to draw one too.
