Description How I feel when I create art is nothing I can put into words, but better expressed through... art, of course! So that's what I did. So much creativity can emanate from my brain once the pen hits the screen. It's magical!

Pictured is my weapon of choice: Wacom Cintiq 21ux. I bought it 4 years ago and haven't regretted it once!

That's exactly how I feel when I draw. Β That is, when I can get whats in my head onto the paper XD

It is a challenge at times isn't it? It's so easy to envision a certain image in your mind, but then the real trick is figuring out how to get what is in your brain to look how you want it. It's so much fun trying different methods though to get it to come out how you want! Thank you for the comment and for looking!

I have plenty of images in my head that I want to do, but due to my lack of knowledge of shading, and only having started working on perspective, I cant do it. Β Its kind of frustrating, but that's where practice comes in! Β

Well, there are so many tutorials and stuff online now about the 'how to's' of anything art-related. Find a few artists here on DA that have done shading tutorials and learn from them. We all have to start somewhere. Lines first, learning contours of objects, then comes shading. You'll get it if you keep at it!

I've been drawing for a while,(but only recently started to pursue it as a career) so I do know some basic stuff such as shading, (all the different tones, mid tone, highlight, core shadow, ext) Β And I also know about contour. Β I think the biggest thing I need to work on now is perspective, so learning to draw buildings, rooms, and stuff. Β I just bought a course on lighting, perspective, human figure, and the human face, so that will really help me.

Sweet! It'll be great to see what you come up with from what you learn out of the book!

Actually, its a series of video courses by Neil Fontaine, but never the less, thanks! Β I think it will really help me improve
