Description Near the Tigris River, you can find this beautiful complex that is a mix of a Mosque and a Madrasa. A very significant building that also includes a shrine which is believed to entomb the remains of Islamic Hadith collector "Muhammad ibn Ya'qub al-Kulayni." The place the building sits on has a history of being renovated and rebuilt. This building was rebuilt by Pasha Dawood of Baghdad, a member of the Mamluk Dynasty that briefly ruled Baghdad but could succeed from the Ottoman Empire. The building is also famous for it's two domes that over the years have seen various paint jobs. Nowadays, it's painted in blue livery with some white and yellow text and lining. You can also see minarets as usual with some mosques.
