Description -Real Name: William Hand
-First Appearance: Green Lantern #29 (1964)

Probably one of the creepiest supervillains that DC comics offered us. Black Hand was pretty tricky to draw. I originally didn't even know if I should give him a cape or not. Furthermore, when I came to coloring, I wanted to originally make him all black but when I was looking through the reference images I had, I realized he and the Black Lantern Corps all have a dank blue tint so I decided to do that. And also because I prefer when the world is colorful which is funny because this guy is basically death but eh. I'll probably get around to drawing Nekron. The problem is that I'm not too familiar with Green Lantern mythos that much so I don't know much members of the various colored Corps. I do know Black Hand, Nekron, Larfleeze, Atrocitus, Sinestro, and the many Green Lantern corps members. But that's about it. Just wish I could get my hands on an easy guide for them. The Lanterns are like the X-Men to me, their series's are confusing and long, but I would argue the X-Men have it worse.

Black Hand Fact: Originally in his first appearance, the reason why William Hand calls himself "Black Hand" is because it's a reference to how his family, especially his three wealth brothers, look down upon him as the black sheep of the family. It's a very goofy reason but it was the Silver Age and Black Hand was very different from now.

Black Hand is owned by DC Comics.
