Today I drew Marie-Antoinette, the queen of France, resting in her personal paradise: The Petit Trianon.She would ditch, as often as she could, her obligations and escape to the Trianon with her favourites. She dreaded Versailles and the rigid protocole...she wanted to breath, being able to be herself...
And here I portrayed her, laying on the grass, enjoying a peaceful moment in 1788...still unaware of the upcoming revolution that would change everybody´s lives.
I just inked via photoshop over the pencil lines, hope you like it!
