Nova continued, quickly, showing Taichi her memories. The digidestined of courage was still shocked about her latest revelation.

" The part where I died", Nova´s words were resonating in his ears...said in a low voice, yet felt as if he´s been standing next to a bell during a couple of hours!
The young adult hoped that was a joke and nothing else, he could always forgive a bad joke. Jokes were usually inofensive.
But looking at Nova´s face, again, her lack of expression...the chills re-emerged in his spine.

But he still continued to watch.
He just wanted to know.

The younger version of Nova lead an entire army of digimons against Piedmon in his so called headquarters.

"Piedmon took as his own one of Azulongmon´s temples, the Temple of Light. A beautiful, holy place became corrupted by that asshole. It was dreadful! None of us could take it any more!"

"Especially Merukimon" thought the girl, quite sad " He was the chosen guardian for that temple, he gave Azulongmon his oath ...Poor Merukimon! He never got over being defeated so easily!...and then, he died..."

She forced herself to look at her memories...she needed to tell Tai. It was important to share her experiences with one of the digidestineds she most respected and admired. She was absolutely sure he would understand. And she was desperate on getting some understanding...!

"Piedmon, some days prior to our assault, was attempting to assimilate Yggdrasil´s Core by using the power of the gods that were embedded into his code" Nova´s expression hardened considerably " He truly was Evil´`s incarnate"

The gods were plushies, attached to Piedmon´s waist. While they were tied to the clown their powers were being transferred to Piedmon´s body and was at such godlike level..he was absolutely unstoppable. Ruki, Tai, Ryo and the others almost lose it when the images showed the killings he´d been carrying on. Digimon after digimon, no matter the level, no matter how big and powerful..they were literally falling to their deaths! Even Nova passed out! And the few digimons that were still standing up were unable to move due to their digicodes being absorbed into Piedmon´s body!

Renamon never felt such fear in her system and found herself shaking. Ryo bit his lips and Ruki was too astonished to say anything.

"Ha! Ha! Ha! " the holograms projected a delighted Piedmon, laughing like the maniac he was "So many powerful digimons..and nobody was able to even touch my face! Such a pity!"

The following minute, poop literally covered his face.

"WTF?!!!" he shouted, furious "Who dares to dirty my face...with...POOP?!"

He had been too busy defeating the biggest and most powerful digimons to pay attention to the smallest ones...the usually insignificant...numemons!

"You are SO going to pay for this!!!! " whispered the evil clown " Hey...why do I feel, suddenly, weaker?...what have you done...?!

The numemons were only a distraction. While surprising Piedmon with their speciality, a gomamon happened to show up next to Piedmon and managed to steal the holy plushies from him!

"KING-SAMA!!!!!! I RESCUED THEM!!!!" screamed Gomamon with thee plushies in his mouth "KING-SAMA!!!!"

"YOU ARE DEAD MEAT!!!!" shouted Piedmon, hysterical " NOBODY DARES TO STEAL FROM THE MAGNIFICENT PIEDMON AND LIVES TO TELL ABOUT IT!!!!!"

Meanwhile Nova woke up in time to see the clown ´s foot over gomamon.

"COMODORO!!!!" she shouted.
Piedmon was about to carry on his horrible promise...but she would not allow it!

The public mouth´s was as big as plates when the holograms showed Nova Takariyama preventing Piedmon´s sword from cutting poor gomamon in 2 halves...and she was wearing an armour.

-IT´S A LIE!! THAT CANNOT BE POSSIBLE!!!- Rika found herself shouting - NO WAY! NO WAY!
Renamon sighed and Ryo never felt so embarrassed.

" For heaven´s sake Ruki-chan...could you please lower your voice?! I think I´ve gone deaf!

" She´s a liar!" miss Makino continued with her hysterics " She´s making it all up!

" Please " begged Renamon "don´t make a scene...

"As if!

It´s not that she didn´t believe the story, she´d rather not believe it...the tone of the tale was getting darker and darker...like never she saw before. And she was trembling like a little child.

Tai and Agumon were too engulfed with the tale to pay attention to the screams happening behind the bushes.

"Tai...who´s that?! " whispered Agumon, amazed.
"That´s me, as the King" she remembered how when she agreed to take on the job as a digidestined, in order to gather an army she went through an unconventional route and addressed herself as a King in order to defeat Piedmon and become the new ruler instead. After enlisting most of the Royal Knights´s alliance and them effectiveky recognized her as their new leader, countless of digimons joined the cause. Yet the final battle proved to be awful, with Piedmon being almost unstoppable. Most of the allies fell under his blades and poor Nova was still shaking after losing almost all her friends in battle "At that moment my emotions were at their very peak and ended upgradingmy digivice...and I ended up with an armor. That was the day I truly became a holy knight...Lancelot (Gallantmon became her first follower besides Taomon) would had been so proud to see me like that..had Piedmon not exterminated the entire army! - she replied in a sober tone. Memories of her training with the knights, learning to fight ...she loved them so much! She would miss them forever.

" King-sama Nova?!" gomamon was as puzzled as the rest "how did you...?!
" No time to explain! Run with the gods! I shall fight against Piedmon..."
"But you aren´t a digimon!" added gomamon " you won´t be able to...!
"Comodoro, Run!!!

Her tone shook Gomamon´s body and the little digimon, hesitant, obeyed her.

"Piedmon! " she faced the clown" I, Nova Takariyama, the White King shall challenge you to a duel"
"You must be kidding me " replied Piedmon initially shocked
"En garde!"
"Are you so willing to die?" the evil clown shook his head in unbelief " I may not possess the power of the gods anymore but I am still a Mega level digimon...and you, a simple human...you dare to challenge me into a duel?!
"I do"she replied in a firm voice "Or are you actually that afraid to accept the challenge?"
" Ha! Ha! Ha! " he showed a sinister laugh " Oh King-sama! You must be insane ! And I love it! Finally met someone who´s crazier than me...do you really consider youself a digimon ?!

She said nothing.

"Very well, King-sama "he continued " I can always recover the damn gods...but hey! A fight with swords? How can I say no to that?"

And the fight began..
