Description

Morwen ("dark maiden", Sindarin) of Lossarnach was born in TA 2922 in Belfalas, she was a woman of high Númenórean descent. She married Thengel, Prince of Rohan, in Ta 2943. They had four daughters (Théodwyn among them) and one son, Théoden, who was born during his parents' stay in Gondor (wheras the two youngest daughters were born in Rohan after Thengel became king.) It was due to her Númenórean blood that her son and grandsons grew to be exceptionally tall for people of Rohan, as did Éowyn. Morwen was a distant relative of Prince Imrahil.
