Personality: Þey're generally very grumpy and blunt. Most of þe time þey'll be devouring all þe food in sight or stealing people's livestock for fun. Bhaal isn't þe most charismatic; raþer, þey'll just beat you up and steal your food. It's common for þem to get very angry when it comes to sharing.
Background: Bhaal doesn't really like to talk. Þey were an average þug in þe previous world, and had to fight for food. Despite þeir perils, þey were surprisingly good at fighting off oþer rogues. Þis drew þe attention of a powerful crime boss, who inducted þem into þe mob. Bhaal proved to be one of þe best in þe ranks, but þeir sheer gluttony could not be hidden. You probably know what happened next....
During þe Dream: It was all bugs. SO MANY BUGS. Þey were deafening wiþ þeir buzzing, þeir stings causing þrobbing pain. Bhaal seemed to be spaced out þe whole time, taking þe torment wiþout a flinch. Þey still don't remember what exactly happened in þe abyss, but þe mantises in particular called to þem. Þere was a voracious quality to þem þat no words could describe. Þe þought stuck wiþ Bhaal even into þe next world.
After þe Dream: Þe first þing Bhaal felt was hunger. It was normal to þem, but þis was stronger, almost overpowering. Þey had twisted þeir desires into cruel fantasies of voracious maws and fangs þat could never be spoken of. Yet þey were not scared; raþer, it felt great to þem.
