-Personality : The very definition of a hard worker. She stops at nothing to get a task accomplished, especially if it's a task that would help someone else. Because of this, she often gets herself into some sticky situations but she doesn't mind most of the time. As long as in the end it ended up helping more than hurting. (Which probably isn't a good way of thinking) But even though she loves helping, she hates it when people are just outright lazy. She grew up with a strong belief that hard work presents results. And if you don't work hard you'll never get anywhere in life. So seeing someone who doesn't even try annoys her and she won't hesitate to say something about it. Also, a trait that gets her into some trouble. Honesty is the best policy with her in all aspects of life. She's the kind of person that would rather be hurt by the truth that coddled with a lie. And she believe everyone should get that sort of "fair" treatment. Sometimes her words can seem "unkind" but she never means anything she says in a hurtful way. She's only trying to give the best advice or help in the fastest, most direct way she possibly can. That's just how her brain was wired. Everything she does is straightforward, direct, and gets right to the point. She actually despises anything that has to do with puzzles, riddles or even board games. To her, making things more complicated just seem like a waste of time. And time is definitely one thing she doesn't like to waste. Life is too short to sit around and not use time wisely. So she strongly believes every moment of your life should be spent bettering yourself or bettering someone else. All of her personality traits stem from watching the Kingdom's knights, along with her own father, and imagining just what a real knight should be like.

Na'el strives everyday to be the best she can but she really has some... interesting, qualities to say the least. At first glance, she believes everyone is good and as good intentions. Maybe just misunderstood. This makes her extremely vulnerable to someone betraying her. But so far in her life she hasn't had anyone intentionally try and hurt her. Mistakes happen and people are bound to make mistakes. That's all she sees it as. Her injury was due to a mistake. A mistake she has already moved on from and forgave but since then, she's been pushing herself more and more to try and make up for it. She hates the fact that it has made her weaker and makes it much more difficult to accomplish certain task, but she refuses to let it stop her. Most of the time she just ignores the pain it causes her. But sometimes when she pushes herself just a little too far its becomes impossible to ignore and she has to go see the healers again. And again. And again. You would think she would learn her lesson, but someone as hard headed and determined as her has a hard time just giving up.

But she's not all rough and tough. She actually a has quite the soft side even though most don't know about it unless they're fairly close to her. She has a love for all things with a shine to them. From gems to weapons (with shiny weapons being her obvious favorite) she loves to see something blind her with its radiance. As a child, she even started a little collection of the shiniest things she could find in the kingdom. In private. Where no one could find out how odd she is. But she can't help to show how much she adores things with a shine when the annual light shows comes around. Which is of course her favorite time of the year.

-History : Na'el grew up a natural tomboy. Rough housing with her two brothers doing things from play fighting to actual training. Always testing each other and pushing each other to become better and stronger. Each one of them aspired to be knights in their homeland in the Lilly Kingdom so it was only natural that they would help each other train. Their father was strongly against it. He himself had been a knight in his younger days. But when his wife had fallen victim to an illness after the birth of their youngest child, Ra'eem, he asked permission to be relieved of duty to raise his 3 young children. Soon after quitting, her father started a weapons shop. A craft he learned on his travels around the kingdom from an old friend. And when he opened his shop, he had hopes that his children would carry on the shop as sort of a family business. But their little hearts were yearning for adventure. Something that was outside of the 4 small walls of their shop. And they were well on their way to reaching that dream. But just like every other path in life's journey, obstacles are bound to get in the way and attempt to shatter those dreams.

Unfortunately, Na'el's path was no different. And it all started like most of the days she lived in the shop. She got dressed, helped her father make the family breakfast, and then after they all filled their bellies, she diligently did every task that was handed to her by her father around the shop. When they closed up, her and her two brothers did what they always looked forward to after closing time. Training. They grabbed the swords they all made on their own and headed to their favorite patch of lily pads to train on. Vashra, her eldest brother, was far more skilled and adept in the art of fighting. Mostly because of age but also he just had a sort of knack for it. But lately, Na'el had been catching up to him. She trained a lot on her own when her brothers were off doing their own thing. That day she felt confident that she could beat him in a sparring match. Or at least catch him off guard for once. Riled up more than ever, she challenged him to a match before they could even warm up. Vashra was skeptical, but he obliged, not wanting to insult her new found courage. They began their battle, and for the most part it seemed as thought it would go just like all the others. But Na'el still had that burning determination in her eyes. Suddenly, she side stepped him with a speed he had never seen her take off with before and it caused him to lose his footing. Without thinking, he swung down his sword harder than her intended at a thoughtless attempt to save himself from falling off the lily pad. His misdirected swing descended upon Na'el at an incredible amount of speed and force. So much so that she didn't have time to move. The only choice she had was to block with her sword. The sword held up for only a second after splitting in half under the pressure and allowing his sword to cut deep into her arm. She couldn't help but cry out in pain and fall to her shivering knees. To her it felt like it had even cut through the bone. Vashra's face was pale with fear. He immediately, yanked the sword from her arm, causing more harm than good, and ran all the way home with her. By the time they had gotten home, she had already passed out from a mixture of pain and loss of blood. They got her to some healers nearby and they did the best they could to try and fully heal her arm. They did a number of different healing techniques over the course of some weeks but they soon had to face the inevitable. When she was stable enough to stay awake, her father did the best he could to explain to her that her arm would probably never be quite right again and she would probably have to give up fighting forever. All she could think to do was smile. She smiled and nodded and layed back down. While she was bedridden, her fathers' words tormented her, almost to the point where she didn't want to get out of bed. But one day something just clicked in her. She could see that the whole ordeal affected her brother just as much as her. He was riddled with guilt, and hardly ever left the house. She called him to her bedside and told him straight up to stop whining and get yourself together. What's done was done and there was nothing neither of them could do about it and they should both just move on. And so. They did.

Finally getting up from being bedridden, she vowed not to let anything hold her back and she would take up the family business when her father finally retired. Vashra was supposed to be next in line to take care of the shop but he decided a different path for himself. He still couldn't quiet get over the fact that he couldn't do anything to help his sister, so he decided he would learn to be a healer and maybe one day figure out how to fully heal Na'el. When she finally became old enough, Na'el did exactly what she said she would do and took over the shop with ease, working hard everyday to make the best damn weapons the lily kingdom has ever seen. Along with the help of her little brother of course! Sometimes while shes along, she still thinks about what would happen if she had never gotten hurt, and deep down she still craves to become a knight. But she keeps pushing forward trying her hardest not to let the past drag her down. Carrying the sword she used that day to remind her of just that.
