Description
Yeah, it's not exactly finished because of my scanner, but you know xD I can work with it. I'll just update this deviation as I add bits and pieces to it.

This is going to be my villain character for ~Team-Outcast Perhaps some of you remember him? ;3

I really hated drawing that skull on his shoulder xD

I'll include his history down here as well, just so I don't clutter up his sheet with it. Though, here are some little things that are missing.

-- Eyes glow white when enraged
-- Interior wing membrane is the same colour as his red markings

And yes, he is a pureblooded Houndoom as far as he knows. Obviously, it is believed that some other Pokemon species were mixed into the bloodlines at some point, as a fair few individuals that originated from the Shadow Peak Pack developed wings, but a lot of the the traits, such as colouration, are from the isolated traits in the pack.

To a pack of 'demons' Xyn was born, or at least, demons by appearance but not by nature. Like the rest of the Shadow Peak Pack, Xyn was hated by the nearby residing humans purely for the fact that he and his kin resembled that which they loathed; that which brought famine and death. Fortunately, under the rule of their alphas, they managed to avoid direct confrontation with their 'enemies' and instead managed to live, for the most part, a fairly normal life.

You could say that Xyn was particularly close to his siblings, particularly his sisters which, at points, he would even allow to groom him and make him look "pretty". While such a thing was rather scoffed at by both his brother and the other young males, Xyn didn't mind in the least and his sisters, Xyalia and Xis, loved him for it.

However, as Xyn grew, so did his attraction for the opposite gender, and the tolerance he once had for his sister's grooming began to wear thin as he focused on attracting a female. Fortunately, his sisters too began to drift away from their brother as they focused more on their own appearances for the possibility that a male would be interested in them. Yet, Xyn soon found himself attracted to one female and one female only: a young, winged Ninedoom that went by the name of Desdemona.

Unfortunately, it seemed that he could never successfully attract the female's attention and was basically nonexistent to her as she instead focused on another Ninedoom that had begun to court her; a male named Raikor. Heart broken that Desdemona hadn't even noticed his affections to spare him a glance -- though admittedly he could have made himself more obvious -- Xyn grew distant from the other pack members and came all but obsessed with winning her heart from the male that she seemed so interested in. However, he never got the chance.

Instead, his frustrations at being 'second rate' began to grow inside him, and he became bitter and aggressive. Eventually, he finally struck out at a fellow pack member and managed to break their neck beneath his powerful fangs. Jaws dripping with blood, he was found by the alpha male and promptly exiled without trial. After all, the humans already considered them to be demons, if they had ever found out that one of the pack had killed their own then they would actually have reason.

Fleeing from the Shadow Peak Pack as the alpha had commanded, Xyn didn't bother looking back. After all, there had always been that constant reminder that he had come in second when it came to love, and he soon forgot about the female he had so aspired to make his own. He wandered alone, growing more feral with every passing day as he became more ruthless in his killings. Even simple prey was ripped to pieces before being devoured, and even unlucky loners that proved to be weaker than himself became a food source. It wasn't long before humans became aware such a feral beast was loose in the wild, and he was eventually tracked down and captured.

However, Xyn was not put down as most humans did with ferals, but rather became little more than a simple lab rat. He was kept secured as numerous tests were done daily for reasons unknown, though the male believed it was some sort of experimentation on creating the ultimate 'guard hound'. After all, he couldn't have been a better specimen: a feral that was a menace to general well-being and would not be missed by anyone. There would be no reason for such organizations for the "Justice of Wild Pokemon" to be involved whatsoever.

Xyn's mind steadily became warped by the constant experimentation, and his actions grew more and more aggressive towards those that kept him captive for such a purpose. Eventually, he managed to break free from what held him back and fled from the compound. Xyn once more took to the wild and gradually made his way back to the home he had been exiled from so long ago.

While most would be sorrow filled once they saw just what a massacre had resulted of the Shadow Peak Pack, Xyn was filled with joy. While his once strong feelings for the female Desdemona had been completely extinguished, he wished to find that Raikor's body was among those left behind. Eventually finding it and the cause of his death [shot through the chest], he promptly devoured most of the remains: a final stretch to get even. However, Desdemona's body was not among those left behind. Not bothered with it, he left the site with little else. While he wished he perhaps could have taken part in the destruction of Shadow Peak, at least the satisfaction of their demise was still there. There was no regret in his mind that he didn't bother looking for his family; after all they were either dead or doing just fine without him.
