*stare* I'm amazed at how you managed to create a three-dimensional and unique and memorable creature as Hippamon with just a couple of simple-looking shapes [I'm practising human anatomy right now, so your WIPs and sketches are like treats for me xD ]

It's just how I've learnt to visualise things I believe. In basic shapes because I hate too much detail!xD I think if you can get your message across in the most simplest form - its the easiest and most effective. Hippamon is basically composed of an octahedral head and two ovals for the body. When you repeat it, it becomes second nature, and your audience starts to fall for it too!
Btw I'm happy you like his eyebrows - I have great use for them later when it comes to some funnier expressions!xD
