This is a gift for the sweet . (Full view please!)When I decided to draw again, I had the luck to find her artwork and her incredible talent for watercolor. She is still an inspiration to me. She helped me to believe in me and especially to build my first price list for potential commissions.
She asked me an elf with white hair, and surrounded by forget-me-nots in a cold color palette (especially blue, as one of her favorite colors).

(I know, there is somethin wrong with the scan. It seems that there are places where it's blur ).
I rescanned my painting to have a better quality!
Thank you to who gives me the right to use her great drawing Romanza ([link] ) as a reference for my girl. Made with:Watercolor, Idian ink, white opaque gouache on a 100% coton 140 lb's Arches sheet.

Les fleurs au premier plan sont très jolie et accentue la profondeur du dessin !!! L'ambiance qui s'en dégage est très paisible et les couleurs utilisés renforce cette impression

J'aime beaucoup ce dessin. J'ai dû me reprendre à deux fois pour faire ce dessin. Le premier était tout simplement horrible au niveau de la coloration. Mais j'ai bien fait d'attendre avant de le refaire, parce que c'est une de mes pièces préférées. J'ai vraiment aimé faire ce dessin, il m'a aidé à passer à travers une dure période alors que je ne trouvais pas du tout du boulot dans mon domaine et que je me demandais ce que j'allais faire de ma vie. C'est comme une gifle que de te voir être refusée partout. Tu te demandes au final si tu es vraiment douée dans ton domaine :/

Je vais bientôt connaitre ça dans mon cursus, ça me fait flipper un peu beaucoup >_< Tu as eu de la chance de bien retomber "sur tes pattes", maintenant tu peux être fière !!

I really love the atmosphere!
It's such a beautiful scene, I like her gentle expression and beautiful hair. The colors give it a slightly mystical flair but they're also really calming and totally fit the peaceful motif of the drawing. Great picture!

I expected that you see this with anticipation. I know how long I talked about this gift for you. I must admit I had lots of problems with the first design.
Yeah! The scan seems good right know. But when I scanned it the first time, some parts of it were blur (bottom/left and her face for exemples). I painted without scotched it on the table so it quite swollens on parts.

Ho, this painting really helped me to go through a very dark time. I had a lot of problems and pain in the last weeks and painting this drawing, it helped me a lot to bring out the evil inside me.

C'est un bon choix l'ambiance bleu vert avec le blanc pour ressortir, j'ai essayé ce mélange moi aussi. Dommage qu'on ai pas fait un trad bidul là dessus.
Le cerf doit être subjugué par les cheveux de cet elfe. Ah non, par l'odeur des fleurs.

Ouais... le cerf... J'ai jamais trop su pourquoi je l'ai dessiné et qu'est-ce qu'il fout là. Par contre, il est très mignon je trouve. C'est vrai qu'il semble fixer l'elfe avec intensité... Peut-être qu'il se prépare à la manger...

I was quite inspired this morning. It's been a few days that I was not going well and it was the first thing I did when I woke up. I painted until early afternoon listening to music that comforts me.
