I don't really like Jelsa, I'm more Jackunzel. I mean, why do people just suddenly ship Jelsa? Becuase they both have ice powers? Oh, wow. Okay.

I could ask you the same thing, why did people suddenly ship Jackunzel? because they were both 3D type animation? and she looked good with him? it's a matter of opinion and I just honestly always liked her better with her canon ship. I have nothing bad to say about your ship, so no hating on mine please.
I ship Jelsa not because of the ice powers actually. I shipped them because I thought they would make quite a lovely match, Jack is very rebellious and charming. He has a past where he did what he could to make others laugh and stay happy. He saved his sister, risked his life for her. Elsa is also rebellious and charming, even though she has her dark past she did anything to save her sister also.
I just like how they could learn from each other and Jack could bring the smiles out of Elsa. I know obviously this won't actually happen but, them both not having an actually canon love interest makes it kinda perfect to me.
His shoulders seem odd to you? it might be the overlay pattern I put over them, because I never messed with his shoulders at all.

I'm not hating on your ship. I didn't mean to offend you. But Jack and Rapunzel do have things in common. They weren't seen for years. They were both lonely. Had a dream. They got to escape.

Nah, no offense here. I adore Rapunzel and Jack Frost, just cause I don't ship them together doesn't mean a thing.
I edit video's on youtube and even have edited video's with them together for my friends.
So, it's just fine, I really actually enjoy seeing the crossovers made of them.

Hi ya, not hating or anything but I just really need to say this, im really tired of people saying people only ship Jelsa because of their powers. It's soooo much more than that!
People ship Jelsa for a lot of reasons. Just because Jack and Elsa have the same powers is NOT the reason why people ship Jelsa. Their similar powers is just a bonus.
I personally ship them because of how similar they are and yet how different they are. I know that sounds weird but hear me out. They’re personalities are polar opposites (opposites attract). Elsa is responsible, regal, protective, caring and acts as the mature queen that she is. Jack is all about fun and mischief. They balance each other out. Elsa would know when to pull Jack back from getting into too much trouble and Jack would be able to encourage Elsa’s more playful side (a side that we do see hints of in the movie).
Now onto the similarities. They both care deeply for their sisters and sacrificed their lives for them. Elsa locked herself away for her childhood and teens to protect her sister from being harmed by her powers, and Jack literally gave up his life to save his sister. They can both bond and comfort one another over this fact. They both know of sacrifice and would do anything to protect their younger siblings.
They both also know the feeling of being alone. Jack was always on his own as no one could see him and Elsa was forced to be on her own as a result of her powers. This is another bonding point.
There are so many other reasons why we ship this ship. I really wish people would actually take the time to explore the pairing before they make assumptions of why the shippers ship it. xx I've had to explain this to a few non-jelsa shippers so if anyone has seen something similar to the above on tumblr its because I wrote about it on tumblr too xx

Or maybe it's just because they have something in common, which is what couples usually have.
Which is what caused the OTP to happen, which may have grown from that to something larger.
Either way, OTP's are OTP's, I get that you don't like it, but it's just how things work, you know? ^^
